We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Catalyst small grant from Arts Council England to build our fundraising capacity and develop our organisation.

“We are really excited to receive this grant, which will make a huge difference to Spare Tyre in 2018. As a specialist participatory arts company, we work with partners across a range of sectors including culture, health, social care, academia and civil society. This support will help us to capitalise on more opportunities in these fields, expanding our socially engaged practice. It will also mean we are able to nurture more emerging and diverse artists – helping to shape the participatory arts practice of the future.” Michelle Smith, Chair of Trustees, Spare Tyre

Joyce Wilson, London Area Director, Arts Council England, said: “I am delighted to see this investment in Spare Tyre's plans for a more resilient future through our Catalyst Small Grants programme.”

It is hugely important for London’s arts and cultural organisations to be able to be more sustainable, resilient and diversify their incomes. I am therefore thrilled that we are able to fund this excellent project in Lewisham through our Catalyst fund, and support their fundraising plans.”
