What we do
Outreach projects for people with low support needs.
For older people and adults with learning disabilities with low support needs, we run projects that include fun, inclusive workshops using multiple artforms.
You can see our latest opportunities to join a workshop here.
Or contact Claire if you’d like to run project with us.
Workshop programmes for people with high support needs.
Across London and beyond we deliver workshop programmes designed for people with high support needs such as older people with dementia and adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities. The programmes are person centred, multisensory and responsive, engaging participants on their own terms.
Contact Vicky if you are interested in us delivering a workshop programme for you.
Shows
Giving a voice to voiceless communities is central to our work, and we provide a platform for this through our ground-breaking shows which attract diverse audiences. Shows are often devised and are always performed by members of our Company of Artists [link]. We currently work with around 20 artists and performers with learning disabilities and aged 60+.

Volunteer programme
Spare Parts is a vibrant and vital piece of the Spare Tyre vehicle. Our volunteers, placements and interns receive practical experience, mentoring from our highly-trained artists and admin staff, and find progression routes to paid work.

Contact Ellie if you'd like to volunteer for us.
connectedculture
Spare Tyre leads connectedculture, the network celebrating adult participatory arts.
