Scratches presented provocative and abrasive new writing by three emerging writers aged 70+. Writers explored ageing: looking back, looking forward, looking towards death.
The writers; Jim Mulligan, Anita Lancet and Fay Helm had worked on scripts over the past year and were mentored by Eastenders writer and Spare Tyre Associate Pete Lawson, Dramaturg Roger Lang and artist, broadcaster and Roundhouse associate Scottee. The rehearsed readings were performed to audiences at The Blue Elephant Theatre, Redbridge Drama Centre and New Diorama Theatre during November 2014.
Scratches was directed by Gavin Dent.
