Spare Tyre works closely with universities and colleges to offer placements to students currently studying performing and participatory arts.

We have strong links with Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Goldsmiths, City University London and Utrecht University in the Netherlands.

Often placed with us for three to six months, students experience all areas of working for a busy and dynamic arts charity and are given the opportunity to contribute new ideas. In return, our company-wide mantra of train, mentor and progress means students receive practical experience and training from our highly skilled artists and admin staff.
