Alan Turing Act passed

In 2017 the Alan Turing Act passed, pardoning 49,000 gay and bisexual men of historic ‘sexual offences’.

Although Spare Tyre are no longer directly producing work related to the issues and experiences of LGBT+ people, the passing of the Alan Turing Act shows the importance of work like The Pink Project in discussing and creating understanding of issues faced by the LGBTQ+ community.
