DLA & DWA

Disability Living Allowance 1991 and Disability Working Allowance passed, helping pay for the extra financial costs that disabled people face. 

Although Spare Tyre had not yet worked with disabled people, the DLA and DWA show an increasing awareness of the specific issues that face disabled people both in employment and in their personal lives.
