EHRC Report

A report by the Equality and Human Rights Commission, 'Being Disabled in Britain: A Journey Less Equal', concluded that in the areas of: education, work, standard of living, health and care, justice and detention, participation and identity, disabled people were experiencing disadvantages in all categories of investigation. 

Spare Tyre have been working with disabled people since 2003 - the need for disabled people to discuss and explain their experiences is made clearer by reports showing the nature and impact of the economic and societal challenges they face.
