SAFE

2009

Devised in collaboration with the  HotPots, the show takes a satirical look at box-ticking, risk-assessment and safe-guarding. 

The show was revisited in 2017, celebrating the launch of Spare Tyre’s 40th anniversary, performed by our Company of Artists, which included learning disabled actors as well as performers aged 60+.

I had the same part [in SAFE] again which was great cos that was one of my favourites. I absolutely loved it. It was really funny actually. It was all about the council telling people, “you can’t do this, you can’t do that”
