Section 28 full repeal

Section 28 was repealed in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Employment Equality Regulations passed, making discrimination in the workplace on the basis of sexual orientation illegal. 

We began to produce shows specifically to be taken to schools. Other People’s Shoes aimed to open up discussions for students and teachers of the harm that homophobic language causes. Burning was aimed at younger secondary school students, to facilitate discussions of sexuality and provide a framework for teachers to deal with issues created by homophobia.
