Following on from Spare Tyre’s first production the three founders continued to explore ideas around body image, engaging participants to discuss female beauty standards that are ingrained in society and the impact these have on women at a personal level.
I certainly think you cannot underestimate the impact of those shows at the beginning, they were unusual in their content because they were musicals. So it wasn’t like you were getting an earnest lecture, you were getting a really fun show.
