Acacia Care Centre resident to our facilitators, 30th September 2024
In September 2024 we ran a series of 6 workshops in South Norwood thanks to funding from Croydon Council's 'Croydon Loves You' grant. Thanks to an introduction from Stanley Arts, Acacia Care Centre invited us in to run 3 sensory workshops for residents with advanced dementia. Special thanks to Marta, Lifestyle Lead at Acacia, who joined in the sessions and helped the residents to participate fully.
Alongside these we ran 2 public Dementia Cafés and 1 Sensory Training for Dementia Workshop.
