Spare Tyre Theatre Company has been working in care, community, and artistic settings with groups that respond best to non-verbal, sensory engagements for many years. We've developed techniques and approaches that can help you to engage creatively with:

• Older people living with dementias
• Learning disabled adults, and those with Profound & Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)
• People with long-term health conditions

We provide training workshops based on sensory techniques in general which would apply to all of those groups, or for specific groups. These training sessions are suitable for:

• Informal carers, for example family members
• Formal carers, for example support workers or those working in care homes
• Artists/ creative practitioners/ facilitators–at any stage in your career
• Community volunteers / staff who who would like to build their sensory skills
