We are delighted to announce that Together is coming to the Tate Modern as part of ‘Age/ncy: Art, Ageing and Transition’ a Tate Exchange programme by Flourishing Lives

Together is a partnership which aims to reduce isolation and loneliness for people aged 60+ and people living with dementias in the borough of Haringey. Our role as dementia arts specialists places us at Haynes Dementia Hub during this 3-year project, working to embed creative practice in the centre to improve wellbeing for clients and carers.

Over the past few months we have been collaborating with participants to explore their hands and the stories they hold; creating story boxes inspired by their experiences. Handheld Stories invites the audience to discover these narratives by delving into story boxes, accompanied by a short film which reveals more about Spare Tyre's inclusive and multi-sensory artistic practice.

Friday 26 April, 12 noon – 4pm, Tate Modern, Blavatnik Building Level 5, free entry
