In these music-based workshops, participants learn how to make their own instruments out of recycled materials.
They create their own music inspired by the values of the Paralympics, by jamming together and creating movements to become a vibrant Street Band.
The Street Band will then perform in the London Borough of Redbridge at the Torch Relay on Sunday 22nd July 2012. They will also perform on 2 other dates during the Paralympics.
The workshops will be held weekly on Tuesdays from 10am-4pm at Redbridge Drama Centre, from 8th May to 17th July, except for 5th June.
A FREE open day will be held on Tuesday 17th April for you to try out the workshops.
