Delighted to be working with the Bush Theatre and Pursuing Independent Paths (PIP) as lead artist in their Local Partnership Scheme.

Partnership projects are the well-spring of everything we do at Spare Tyre, and it's a joy to be back with our accomplices at the Bush, and to be working for the first time with new friends from PIP. I can't wait to see what happens.

Rebecca Manson Jones, Spare Tyre Artistic Director & co-CEO

For 6 months between October 2025–April 2026, Spare Tyre will be working with a group of adults from Pursuing Independent Paths (PIP). Bush Theatre have been running this partnership scheme with artists and community groups for nearly 10 years, and we're delighted to be returning as lead artist. This year, artist/ facilitator/ dramatherapist Jazmin Qunta will be working with the group fortnightly to explore different artistic styles, forms, themes and ideas.

At Pursuing Independent Paths (PIP) we empower adults with learning disabilities to live a life of their choice. We work together as an organisation to achieve their ambitions, develop skills, and provide opportunities for independence

Pursuing Independent Paths (PIP)

Our collaboration with the Bush Theatre and the Local Partnership Scheme began in 2018 when we worked with This New Ground Collective. You can watch a behind the scenes film of the project, The Moving Play, here.
