Covid Café- Connected Conversations

“So great to be in a space where I don’t have to explain it.”

Spare Tyre invites you to the Covid Café Connected Conversations.

Free online facilitated creative group conversations by and for people learning to live with Long Covid – Feb – April 2023.

Join our connected conversations with other people who “get it”. In small facilitated groups, explore new ways of being in the world and make your own decisions about possible actions, small or large, for how you want to live now. Screen on, screen off, in your bed, cosy on a sofa, at your desk, join how it works for you.

You can join one of the two groups:

Thursdays 2:30pm-4pm

  • 9 February
  • 23 February
  • 9 March

Saturdays 2:30pm-4pm–please note change to the start date

A creative, gentle, inclusive series of conversations in an online safe space led by lived experience facilitators Rebecca and Laura. The sessions are for anyone living with Long Covid (and other long-term health conditions) based in London. The commitment is for all sessions (although we understand fatigue may impact your ability to come to some) so that the group help each other and build trust. The sessions are free to join, confidential, all we ask is your postcode. All you need is a cup of tea, a connection to Zoom, the willingness to listen and your generosity of spirit. It’s not all talk – there will be breathing and gentle creative exercises to open up perspectives too.

BSL and access support is available. Contact our project Coordinator Lara on covidcafe@sparetyre.org to sign up or discuss how we can help.
