Join us on a walking tour of St Mary’s Convent in Roehampton, followed by a creative workshop. This is part of our Over the Road project, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. 

A unique opportunity to see inside St Mary’s Convent, exploring where the old steam laundry was based, and hearing the story of Frances Taylor the founder of the convent. Learn about Taylor’s vision and the contribution she made to local people in need. The walk will be followed by a workshop handling historical objects and hearing stories of the nuns.
